Here's what you need to know
The EDG loves welcoming new members. Since we are a student-led group there are lots of tasks to be covered. You can join, if you are passionate about acting and would like to be on stage, but also if you're interested in working backstage.
The best time to do so is at the beginning of a new season, which is usually in April. A season spans across 2 semesters, our performances take place in winter. We always announce the time and place for our first meeting a few weeks prior. If you'd like to join us during the season please get in touch. We're looking froward to meeting you!
Acting
Every season starts with an open casting. We encourage anyone who'd like to be on stage to take part. You don't need to be experienced in acting but it might be an advantage if you're looking to play one of the bigger parts. Our directors will explain everything about the casting at the first meetings.
Backstage
You can also get involved backstage. If you're creative and reliable we'd love your support in our project groups. You can work with us on the script, the scenery, props, costumes, hair & make-up, tech, PR, finances or organisation.
